Tonight here in good old Cincinnati, DUI checkpoints will be in place. I didn’t know this but apparently, police agencies are required to tell the public the general vicinity where these checkpoints will be and the times when they will take place.
Click here to get educated on this and keep checking the internet today to find out when and where to go get your DUI.
Is it just me, but if you’re going to drink and drive tonight (and, of course, you shouldn’t), wouldn’t it be wise to avoid these checkpoints that are going to be posted on the web? Wouldn’t it be smarter for the police not to tell the public?
Whatever. I’ll stay home and drink.

One would think that the element of surprise would be needed here and not giving drinkers and drivers full warning. Yep, a bit odd.
Thing is those who drink and drive aren’t smart enough to know anything about checkpoints.
I’ll stay home too. Larry, please bring me over a bottle.
