When it comes to drinking, I’m finding out more and more stuff you shouldn’t be doing. I wrote about this in CityBeat some weeks ago, but at this point, I could easily do a “Part Two.”
Add to that list of things you shouldn’t be doing while under the influence is practicing medicine. Really, if you’re a doctor, stop being one for a bit if you’ve had a few.
A couple in Northern Kentucky got awarded 2.5 million dollars in a lawsuit against a doctor who was assisting in the delivery of their baby. Apparently, the doctor fell asleep during the delivery.
The report doesn’t mention if an open container was found in the delivery room or what the doctor was drinking. I bet it was beer. That stuff always makes me sleepy too.
