On the bus most mornings when I’m going to this new freelance job, there’s a guy who hangs out at the front of the bus talking to the bus driver. I guess the two of them are friends. That’s fine—I mean who really cares about that?
What I do care about is trying to get around his big old fat stomach when I’m getting off the bus. I have barely enough room to get around it and this is becoming annoying.
Hey fatty, I’m trying to get around your stomach. The bus is almost empty—why not take a seat? Better yet, maybe walk to where you’re going. Maybe you’ll lose a few pounds.
Sorry if I’m sounding unkind this morning.

Heavy or thin, I also find it annoying when a passenger blocks the flow of bus traffic to stand up there to bullshit with the driver. The driver needs to need his or her mind on the road and not a conversation.
Passengers are supposed to leave the bus drivers alone!!
