Hmmmmm. Do you think I can beat Huffington Post or any other blog in the U.S. from writing about this first? We’ll see.
I’m just a writer here in Cincinnati. What do I know about talent shows? Not much. Hell, I don’t even watch them—but I came across a clip of Stacey Solomon this morning on the old You Tube. She’s taking part in a television talent show called “X-Factor.” I think its being done in England.
She’s 19-years-old, a single mother and wants to be a professional singer. Of course, I can’t show you a real clip of her because You Tube and the owners of the show are getting all fussy about copyright issues (and I wouldn’t be surprised if even this audio thing gets taken down shortly), but take a listen to this. . .
Mark my words: This girl is going to be the next Susan Boyle. No, they don’t look anything alike and they have very different type voices, but my gut is telling me this Stacey is going to be a star.
Now go to You Tube and watch the real video.
