If issue 3 is approved in November, sleepy Cincinnati could become a bit livelier.
Gambling would be allowed here. We more than likely would have casinos in downtown Cincinnati.
I found a post on Examiner.com that says if this passes, it’s going to have a big impact on the elderly. It states that 65% of those who gamble are 65 years old or older.
Really? Will grandpa be pawning his walker to get gambling money?
That post at the Examiner is just an opinion piece not backed up with any kind of facts, but I’d like to find out what you think. I’ll ask two questions.
Would you like to see gambling casinos here in Cincinnati?
Should we disapprove issue 3 to protect the elderly?
I’m betting most of you will answer both questions.
(Photo found on WordPress. Yes, maybe we’ll be able to gamble in Ohio soon, but we still won’t be able to smoke. Put out that cigarette you old bag! Oh, sorry Grandma)
