In my travels in and around Cincinnati, I’ve noticed a lot of apartment buildings with signs posted almost begging for tenants. An article in The Cincinnati Enquirer (yes, that rag) confirms what I’ve known all along (yes, I’m pretty damn smart). This recession we’re in has hurt landlords.

I’ve been in my living space here in Westwood for about a year and a half now. I like the fact that it’s off the beaten path and I like the catwalks that take me to those main drags and those bus stops that can get me downtown quickly, so right now I have no intention of moving—but some of those deals around are pretty tempting.
So right now it’s a good time for those who rent. Of course, you need to have a job to pay for that rent, but that’s a whole other issue.
