I haven’t gone on a rant about Wall Street or those big banks lately, but that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten about them. However, the reality is those big banks have certainly forgotten about us and haven’t learned a damn thing from that banking “mess” that they created last year.
We, the taxpayer, bailed them out but that’s all been forgotten. For those big banks, it’s business as usual. Really, I think you know that.
So I kind of like this idea of moving money out of the banks that are “too big to fail.” Take a look at this video Bill Maher made about it.
Think about it. There are plenty of local banks and credit unions here in Cincinnati where maybe you’ll be a real person and just not an account number.
Me? Not that I have that much, but I’ve never had any of my money with a big bank. For me, it’s always been local banks and/or credit unions.
I’ve never trusted Wall Street or those big banks. Never have—never will.
