Kevin LeMaster and I seldom see eye to eye on anything, still it’s a shame to see his Building Cincinnati blog or website or whatever you want to call it having problems.

Moral of the story? Don’t count on your web page for all of your income. Here, at Larry Gross Online, I hope to push and sell a few books and that’s about it. I don’t expect it to keep me in vodka and cigarettes—or what I call the “staples of life.”
Good luck, Kevin.

Sorry. No, it’s not pretty anymore. Really. Enough Already.
However, I’m kind of lucky. I can work from my study in my living space and not have to go out in this mess.
I wrote some about Laura last week as I was preparing for the white death, round #2. As I was leaving Bart’s on that late Thursday afternoon, she said if I needed anything and couldn’t get out to call her.
She knows I have nerve damage in my feet and it’s hard for me to walk on the white stuff. I wrote about this in CityBeat a few weeks back.
You know, most people say these words, offering some help, but really hoping to hell you don’t take them up on it. Well yesterday, I got a text message from Laura wanting to know if I needed anything. The words that she told me last Thursday she meant. That simple act of kindness really touched my heart.
But I’m all right—got out this past Sunday and stocked up on food, vodka and cigarettes.
How are you coping with the latest white death round?
