Yes, here we go with round #4 of heavy snow here in Cincinnati. I could talk again about the nerve damage in my damn feet that makes it hard for me to get out and walk on this stuff, but I’m tired of talking about it and you’re probably tired of hearing it.
While it’s not my nature, let me attempt to look on the bright side.
I think I’m prepared for this. On Saturday, I got out and stocked up on food, vodka and cigarettes. I always seem to have plenty of food when the snow hits, but start to panic on the vices. I usually have to pace myself on those vices which is actually good because I need to cut down on my bad habits.
If the weather gets bad again this week, I know I have a few friends who can help me out and get me out.
And I’ve got plenty to do—got to write a Living Out Loud column for CityBeat, need to start preparing that novel I’ve written for publication and have other writing projects that will keep my mind off the fact that I’m stuck in the goddamn—
Oh, sorry. I said I would try to be positive here.
