It’s not Kraft, it’s the Kroger brand. It cost me 79 cents.
I also have a pouch of Chicken of the Sea tuna. I stopped buying cans of tuna years ago. With a pouch, you don’t have to drain the tuna. This pouch cost me $1.09.
On my food shelf, I also have a can of sweet peas—the Kroger brand. It cost me 69 cents.
I followed the instructions on the macaroni & cheese box. When it was done, I drained the can of peas and added them and the tuna to the macaroni & cheese, stirring it all together until I could stir no more.
When finished, I put the contents into three small containers and then put them in my refrigerator. I’ll heat one of them up in the microwave come dinner time.
I haven’t decided yet what to call this dish, but I’ll get three meals out of it and it only cost me $2.57.
