Waiting for a bus on Werk Road one afternoon last week, I watched a guy mow his yard. It was a warm afternoon and he was wearing blue jeans and a long sleeve shirt—not that it matters. He can wear whatever he wants. It’s just something I noticed.
As I watched, I started to wonder if I could still mow grass. I walk with a cane now, most of you know that. I wondered how I would cut that grass without getting by cane caught in those mower blades. I guess I would need a riding lawn mower to get the job done.
Despite the fact I’d be sitting on the mower instead of pushing it, I still wouldn’t wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt—but that’s just me.
