Joffrey Smith feels the pain of Clermont County residents who are battling the Asian longhorned beetle. Smith is a city councilman in Worcester, Mass., population 181,000, where an infestation of the tree-killing beetle, discovered in August 2008, has resulted in the removal of about 30,000 trees.

Kind of amazing isn’t it? Not only do we have massive amounts of bed bugs here but we now have longhorned beetles too.
At least these beetles stay on trees and not in our beds. It’s my nature to always look on the bright side.
