I was in the Kroger store on Madison Avenue in Covington a few days ago to get some groceries and one of the things I picked up was a bottle of poppy seed salad dressing. There is no better salad dressing for a salad than this, so why can’t I find it in a restaurant?
Whenever I order a salad, I always ask the waitress if they have poppy seed salad dressing and the answer is always “no,” and my come back is always “well, you should.”
I always end up with ranch. When did ranch salad dressing take over the world of salads? I’ll have to do some research.
Also at Kroger, I picked up a box of grape tomatoes. They taste great on salads. When I got home and started to unpack my groceries, I noticed that the box of grape tomatoes was only half full. Someone must have opened it up and helped themselves.
I’ll try not to be bitter. At least I have a few to put on my salad topped with poppy seed salad dressing. I checked the bottle to make sure it was full. It was.

I remember life before ranch dressing, now I can’t imagine life without it!
Mitchell’s Fish Market. They have a poppyseed dressing to put others to shame and should sell it on street corners, preferably close to my house
Do you get a buzz using that poppy seed stuff?
Wouldn’t it be shocking to go to a restaurant that DOESN’T have ranch dressing? I hate that stuff.
I love poppyseed dressing. You’re making me hungry!
Poppy Seed salad dressing? I had it once and almost threw up. It’s too damn sweet and anyone who doesn’t like Ranch salad dressing is unamerican.
