I got the Kroger brand—the creamy type. I once had a friend who would yell at me because I never got the “all natural” kind. That person and I are no longer friends.
I also picked up some sugar free grape jelly to go along with the peanut butter. I’m diabetic but regardless, that sugar free jelly is sweet enough.
When I was a kid, I thought peanut butter and jelly sandwiches only tasted good on white bread. Now as an adult, it only tastes good on wheat bread.
Also when I was a kid, I remember my grandmother taking bananas, cutting them into large pieces and then slicing those pieces in half. Between the slices of banana, she would put peanut butter, then top it with mayo, then sprinkle nuts on top. It tasted good as a kid but now the thought of eating something like that makes me want to throw up.
