I don’t visit The Cincinnati Beacon blog very often, but I can’t help but notice that their last update was July 28. Is this blog dead? What—no goodbye?
I did a Google search to try and find out why new entries have stopped there but I couldn’t find anything. I’m curious as to why the blog is at a standstill.
The Beacon was never added to my blogroll as there wasn’t a lot of love between us. Sometimes they would take shots at me for speaking my mind which is all well and good, but I didn’t feel like promoting them much here because of it. Call me petty.
The Cincinnati Beacon was started by “The Dean of Cincinnati.” I don’t think I’ve ever met him. Apparently he wears a cape a lot. I think I would remember that.
One of his writers was Justin Jeffre who is now reunited with the musical group 98 Degrees. Maybe this is one of the reasons why The Beacon has stopped making new entries. We all know that Jeffre’s first love is music. I’m sure he’s not returning to it for the money (You can consider this a ‘shot,’ Justin. Again, call me petty).
If anybody knows what’s going on with The Beacon, I hope you’ll fill me in. Regardless of our differences, I want them to carry on and be successful and that’s not being petty.
