Who would have thought? Four years ago, we were a tiny blog coming from Westwood, Ohio—about 15 minutes away downtown Cincinnati. Today, we’re a tiny blog coming from downtown Covington, Kentucky. Yep, different city but still tiny.
But tiny is OK. More than a few—hundreds in fact—visit here every day and to those of you who do, we thank you very much (actually it’s just me thanking you, but saying ‘we’ makes ‘us’ sound bigger.
‘We’ have written over 1,430 of these things. Many have asked how ‘we’ come up with ideas. A lot of the ideas come from ‘our’ brains, but also a good portion ‘we’ just pull out of ‘our’ rear ends.
What’s in store for ‘our’ fifth year? Not sure. As I said yesterday, ‘we’ may not do a photo with every blog post, not sure how important a photo is. Also, over the years, some of our posts haven’t been long at all, so ‘we’re’ thinking about doing fewer posts, but making each one longer.
‘We’ may also try to think of a way to make some real money off this thing in the coming months—plaster this blog with all kinds of advertising so ‘we’ can get rich.
Naw. ‘We’ don’t think any major changes are coming, really—you’ll probably on the average continue to get six posts a week and ‘we’ll’ continue to be poor.
That’s all for today. Come back tomorrow when ‘we’ll’ try to be all witty—but you know how it is here. It’s hit and miss. It may come from ‘our’ brain or maybe from ‘our’ rear end. Maybe that’s why ‘we’re’ still tiny.
