Don’t get me wrong. I’m very grateful to all of you who visit here. This is a small blog and that’s what I kind of like about it and I think maybe you do too. We’re never going to be The Huffington Post here. Let’s keep it that way.
Having said all of the above, I came across some “stats” on this blog, read them on something called “Web stats domain.” I guess I could have provided a link to it, but I forget the exact name and now I can’t find it. However, before I lost it, I wrote a few statistics down.
Overall, “Larry Gross Online,” out of five stars, gets 2 and a half of them. That’s not very good is it? Are stars statistics?
Among the 30 million domains, we’re ranked 7,132,695. This probably isn’t all that great either, but at least we’re not ranked, 29, 999,999.
Apparently, we have a good “pager rank blog status.” I’m not sure what this means, but I’ll take it.
And this is what really caught my eye. The estimated worth of this blog, where you’re at right now, is $1,585. Really? Could I borrow five bucks of that and go out and get a pack of cigarettes?
Doing the actual writing here, for me, is more fun than looking at statistics. I’ll leave that up to people who probably don’t even know I exist. Let’s keep that that way too.
