  1. I agree with Gus but some of it is better for you than others. As a diabetic, of course, stay away from all that sugar but some of us can take a little bit of it 🙂

  2. A bowl of oatmeal with blueberries or strawberries and bananas is the way to go if you want a healthful breakfast. Almost all boxed cereals, with the exception of some Chex, Special K, or shredded wheat types, are full of sugar and other harmful ingredients. Advertised heavily, especially to kids, and placed prominently on grocery shelves for maximum eye contact, they are cash cows that have little, if any, regard for consumers’ health.

  3. I am always amazed how expensive the stuff is. I haven’t eaten it in years. I usually have some fruit for breakfast.

  4. Regular Cheerios is pretty good. Kix is the one healthy cereal I’ve only hated. It may be kid tested but that don’t mean the kids didn’t feed it to the dog.

  5. I used to eat Multi-Grain Cheerios.

Finally gave it up – it was an expensive habit. Now quick oatmeal is a LOT cheaper and just as good.
