I realize I make fun of The Huffington Post from time to time, but I go there at least twice a day to see what’s going on and a lot of the time, they do come up with some interesting posts like this one about the old 1989 movie, “When Harry Met Sally.”
I have to agree. If you’re going to watch one movie this fall, this should be it. This Nora Ephron film is a classic for sure. I’ve watched it at least four or five times in my life. As far as I’m concerned, when it comes to movies about relationships, it’s right up there with Woody Allen’s “Annie Hall.”
Just for my own information, I looked up how old Billy Crystal is now. He’s 65. Meg Ryan is 51. Where would their characters from the film be today? Is it the right time to do a follow-up to their classic movie?
Naw, it probably wouldn’t work—better to leave this alone. I want to imagine Harry and Sally just the way they were.
If you’ve never seen “When Harry Met Sally,” I’m providing you a YouTube clip of the entire film down before. Consider it my Thanksgiving gift to you. You’re welcome.
I’ll be back here on Wednesday.
