I’ve known writer C.A. MacConnell for a lot of years now. She was my neighbor when I lived in Clifton and she used to write some Living Out Loud columns for me in CityBeat. She’s known as a great music writer too. Her blog is listed over there to the right in the “blogroll.” You should check her out.
Anyway, C.A. has released her first book—a novel called “Griffin Farm.” I read a first draft of this a few years ago. I thought it would take me at least a week to finish the book and comment on it, but I got so caught up in the story, I read it all in one sitting. That’s something I normally don’t do with any book but I couldn’t put it down. That’s how good it is. Here’s a link to find out more about C.A.’s novel and/or to order it.
I hope everybody had a good holiday yesterday. I saw my son and his girlfriend on Monday night and my daughter and her husband on Tuesday night. A good time was had by all on both nights. I spent Christmas Day alone working on my next book which was fine with me. I hope your day was what you wanted it to be too.
