I have a reader here who, every so often, will complain that I don’t write enough about sports. You know who you are. There’s a very good reason for that. Why don’t I write about sports? Because I don’t know much about sports and this isn’t a damn sports blog. So there.
Having said that, this post is sort of going to be about the Cincinnati Bengals who are having a great football season (at least I know that much). There’s this playoff game on Sunday where they will beat the San Diego Chargers. Look at how positive I’m being, but even if I decided to be all negative about it and predict a loss, it’s still going to be a win for the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.
This game on Sunday could generate $14M for this area. Really. Click here to read about it.
Some of that money could spread over here to Covington, Kentucky where I live. I’ll take note on Sunday and see if that Walgreens on Madison Avenue is busier than normal or if Covington Chili is packed with customers. I’m only half kidding about this. I mean the whole area is going to be jammed with people.
We’re in the money. Sorry my friend who wants me to write more about sports. This is really more about the dough.
