  1. I’ve learned over the years to never take a “polite and courteous” neighbor for granted. Most of the time, you don’t get that.

  2. I agree that it is better to know what you HAVE in a neighbor. We all have our faults but some are worse than others and nobody wants the neighbor from hell!
