  1. So much of downtown Covington is economically poor and in those kind of situations, this is what you’re going to get. It’s probably one of the reasons why prices are a little high at Walgreens.

  2. Damn right about those freezers. This has been going on for weeks! Why can’t they fix or replace them?

  3. Can’t help but wonder if Kroger also there on Madison has the same problem.

  4. I don’t think I’ll be buying any frozen food from Walgreen’s anytime soon. I wouldn’t anyway.

  5. Don’t they have security cameras in that place? Probably do, but nobody is paying any attention to them.

  6. Isn’t there a Kroger store just a few blocks up the street? Why would anyone pay high prices at Walgreen’s. Walk up to the damn Kroger store!

  7. Common sense Hannah. Don’t buy ANY frozen food from ANY store with the box already open.

  8. It is easy for the poor to take from the frozen food section at Walgreen’s because there is very little foot traffic in that area. Most people who have any sense will walk a few blocks up to Kroger.

  9. The crooks are probably reading the cooking instructions before steal the wings.

  10. For a few people, Walgreens at MLK and Madison is the corner of healthy and happy.

For the vast majority, Walgreens at MLK and Madison (and the rest of Covington) is the corner of poverty, homelessness and food insecurity.
