She was a sweet little thing, blonde hair and blue eyes. I’m guessing maybe she was five years old.
I only looked at the little girl for a few seconds but she looked up at me and smiled. Her two front teeth were missing. She looked so cute. I smiled back.
Walking back home from Walgreens (you know, down there at the corner of happy and healthy), I passed a gentlemen on the sidewalk. I’ve seen him many times before. He’s older and always smiles at me a lot. It freaks me out a little as his two front teeth are missing. I wish he would just grin at me instead of smile.
As I continued my walk back home, I thought to myself why is it when a little girl smiles and shows that her front two teeth are missing it’s cute, but when an old man does it, it’s disgusting?
I don’t know. Maybe “cuteness” changes as you get older.

I hope everybody has a good weekend. With any kind of luck this blog will resume “normal” operations early next week. I’m not sure if that’s a threat or a promise.
