She told me I could prepare the sweet potatoes, one at a time, in my microwave. She showed me how to do it and now you can learn how to do it too by clicking here.
I don’t eat a lot of sweet potatoes because somehow in my head, and this goes back to when I was in grade school and in history class, I remember reading that Daniel Boone died from eating too many sweet potatoes. When my friend delivered those two sweet potatoes to me, that memory reentered my thoughts.
Was I remembering this right? Maybe I was wrong. I did a Google search.
On this blog called “Symon Sez,” and the second news item down, it’s discusses how Daniel Boone met his death. Here you go, click here.
Gee, poor Daniel. What a sad way for your life to end.
Anyway, I had one of those sweet potatoes a couple nights ago—baked it in the microwave and it came out fine. Put a little ground cinnamon on it which made it taste even better.
I’ve still got the other one left. I’ll save it for a little bit. You know—don’t want to eat too many of those things.
