I wasn’t going to read about this silly, drunken brawl in Alaska involving Sarah Palin and her family, but I found myself with some time on my hands and read a news report about it. Here, I’m sharing.
I don’t give Sarah Palin and/or her family much thought, but when I do, they—especially and mostly Sarah Palin—always gives me something to think about.
This woman, Sarah Palin, was the 2008 Republican Party nominee for Vice President of the United States. Think about that. She could have been a heartbeat away from running this country.
Obama has, at times, been a disappointing president, but he has a Vice President who has a steady hand and that could step in and take over and run this country if necessary. Would you really want Vice President Sarah Palin stepping in? All she would step into would be shit.
I also sometimes wonder what the hell John McCain was thinking when he wanted her as his Vice President, but I’m going to stop thinking about all this. I’ve got better things to do on this Sunday morning. I’ll just give thanks that Palin and her ridiculously acting family never got keys to the White House.
