Honestly, I really do like most of the employees down there at the corner of happy and healthy (Walgreens/Covington), but man oh man—don’t think that the prices marked for the product you’re purchasing will be the same as what the cash register is going to ring up. Sometimes, actually a lot of the time, those prices are higher. This has been an ongoing issue since the summer. Just a few days ago, I felt compelled to rant at a Walgreens manager because of this continuous problem.
Paying attention and having to bring the issue up since the summer, I’ve managed to save myself from being overcharged by over twenty dollars. Do you have that kind of money to spare, to just give to Walgreens? I don’t, and having to keep them honest pisses me off. They should already be that way.
Suggestion to management down there at the corner of happy and healthy: take a tip from the store now at your old location—The Dollar Tree Store. Like them, make everything in your store one dollar. That way you won’t have to worry about entering wrong prices in your computer. Everything will be a buck. There you go—problem solved.
How about it, Walgreens? Yeah I know. Fat chance.
