I think I’ve said this here before, but there’s a Christmas tree in the lobby of my building and I think I’m going to consider this my Christmas tree this year. The reality is I haven’t put up a tree in a long time.
Back when I was still putting up Christmas trees—and this was when I was living in Clifton and my son was still living with me—I had cats. Dorey was the older cat and then there was Phoebe.
Cats and Christmas trees: I kind of remember Phoebe messing around with it, but Dorey? No, not so much. Maybe it was because he was older.
My son has cats—so does my daughter. My son’s cats love to climb up in the tree. So far, they haven’t knocked it down and it’s funny to watch them be up in it. My daughter’s cats are beautiful but a bit wild. I don’t think she and her husband are even going to make the attempt to put a tree up this year.
Cats in Christmas trees are funny I think. Of course, I’m not the one having to clean up the Christmas tree mess. All I have to do is watch a two and a half minute video.
