Before I started writing this post, I went back to see how many times I’ve written about binge watching here. Apparently, it’s been twice. I wrote about binge watching “Damages” and also “Louie.” I think I’ve actually written more than that about this ‘habit,’ but there are no hard and fast rules here.
When I think about it, binge watching is kind of old hat for me. Back in the day of the VCR recorder, I would record “Seinfeld” shows and watch a number of them back to back. I even remember doing this with “Family Ties.”
Now, my binge watching is done on my computer. Now, I’ve got season three of “House of Cards” to watch.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with binge watching a television show, but I need to be smart about it—need to get my work done and then consider it a reward to binge watch this great show.
That’s why I’m working hard today. I’ll be binge watching “House of Cards” on Wednesday. See you all on Thursday.
