  1. That video was an “interesting” song for me to wake up to on a Monday morning 🙂

  2. I loved the violin story and I reread the City Beat article too. It sounds like your friend is indeed living his dream and I’m happy for him.

  3. I enjoyed the music very much. Variety, especially when it comes to music, is the spice of life.

  4. Well, at least it wasn’t the country music stuff you usually put up here.

  5. A nice story of an a valued instrument saved and reborn. I love all good music, including Hendrix and The Who, but I never enjoyed them destroying their instruments. Pure musicians don’t have to lower themselves with stunts to entertain.

  6. I also enjoyed the violin story and I agree with Tuck about musicians who destroy their instruments. It brings to mind a column you wrote for Citybeat about it. Your mentioning Garth Brooks and all the guitars he has destroyed on stage comes to my mind. Such a waste, such an unhappy ending for those instruments. That violin had a HAPPY ending. Who wouldn’t love that?
