Will you be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday? I’m thinking I will. I can’t remember the last time I watched one, so it’s probably time to change that—or at least that’s what I’m thinking now. That all could change.
I need to root for a team. I think it will be the New England Patriots. Why? Because the New England states are closer to me here in Northern Kentucky than Seattle is. This reason is good enough for me.
Should I be against the Patriots because of this “DeflateGate” business? I pretty much agree with Louis C.K. on this one. You can find his opinion right here.

Yes, I know it’s Super Bowl Sunday. That’s all well and good. I probably won’t be watching the game. Actually, there’s no ‘probably’ to it. I won’t be watching. I would rather just be doing something else.
I’ve never gone to the Super Bowl—never had any desire to. Also, never had any money to.
The last Super Bowl I watched on television was back in 1989. That’s when the Cincinnati Bengals were last there, of course. They didn’t win, of course.
Super Bowl commercials? I’m sure I’ll catch up with a few of them sooner or later. I watch “television” on my computer now and most of the time I can skip commercials and I don’t see that being any different with those from the Super Bowl. A commercial is a commercial and most of them are anoying.
I’ve never been to a Super Bowl party but I have gone to regular parties in my life. CityBeat parties used to be the most fun, but not so much anymore. They’ve changed, or maybe I have.
I’ve gone to some Bengals games in my life, but I’ve gone to many more Reds games—used to go to about 20 a year. Not anymore. I’ve said this before here: Nothing stays the same.
Enjoy watching the Super Bowl tonight. I’ll probably be watching a Woody Allen movie that I’ve got on my computer. I’m thinking Woody won’t be doing what I’m doing. I’m thinking Woody will be watching the Super Bowl.
