If you live in the tri-state area, I’m tiling Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and parts of Indiana, last Friday afternoon was a little scary.
Indiana and Kentucky got the worst of it with tornados touching down, heavy rain, people killed—again, a little scary.
I heard the sirens go off here in Covington and could tell from the sky we were in for it. After coming back from the window, I turned off my computer. I always turn off my computer when it storms.
I turned on my little red transistor radio. This thing is almost as old as me. It still works. It’s AM only. FM wasn’t around when it was made.
I turned in WLW. As much as I hate that station—and we’re tiling real hate here—it’s still the best place to go to when the weather turns shitty.
While the sky got pretty dark, we didn’t really have a major storm in Covington. We got lucky this time around.
Tornados touching down in this area the second day in March. Let me use that word scary again.
