A man in Mason, Ohio has been charged with his 21st DUI and is he ever going to pay the price for it. He’s going to be spending the next ten years in prison.
When I first read the story, I thought 10 years is a bit long to be in the slammer for drinking—but after being arrested this many times for the same thing, it’s pretty apparent that the guy can’t take a hint. You know, don’t drink and drive.
There are a few things one shouldn’t do while drinking. I wrote about it last month in CityBeat in a column called Under the Influence.
I kind of feel sorry for the guy, but when I think about it, I think the judge is actually doing him a favor. He won’t be killing himself or anybody else while driving. Also, maybe after serving 10 years in prison, he’ll finally “get it.” By that I mean lose the car keys.
